Terms of use
These terms apply when you use Allotment Checker at myipostatus.com. Allotment Checker is run by Gautam Rudani in India ("we", "us"). By using the service, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it.
What the service does
Allotment Checker shows information about Indian IPOs, such as dates, price bands, lot sizes, subscription and the grey market premium (GMP), collected from public sources including NSE, IPOWatch and the registrars' own websites.
When you check allotment, we send the PAN you enter to the registrar handling that IPO (for example Bigshare Services, KFin Technologies or MUFG Intime) and show you what the registrar returns. We don't decide allotment and can't change it.
The service is free. Signing in with Google is optional and only needed to keep your saved PANs on your account.
Not investment advice
Allotment Checker is for information only. It is not investment, tax or legal advice, and Gautam Rudani is not registered with SEBI as an investment adviser or research analyst. Decide on your own, or with a qualified adviser, before you apply for or trade any security.
GMP is unofficial grey-market data. It isn't published by any exchange or regulator and doesn't predict the listing price.
We aren't affiliated with, endorsed by or acting for NSE, BSE, SEBI, any registrar or any company whose IPO appears here. Company names and logos belong to their owners and are shown only to identify each company.
Accuracy of information
Data comes from third parties and can be late, incomplete or wrong. Dates marked with ~ are estimates. A registrar can change its website at any time, which may stop a check from working or give an unexpected result.
Always confirm an allotment result on the registrar's website, with your bank (for the blocked amount) or in your demat account before you act on it.
Your responsibilities
You must be 18 or older to use the service. By using it, you agree that you will:
- Only enter PANs that are yours, or that the holder has allowed you to check (such as family members who agree to it).
- Only enter a minor's PAN if you are that minor's parent or legal guardian.
- Not use the service to look up, collect or sell other people's information without their permission.
- Not scrape the service, send automated or high-volume requests, get around its limits, or use it in a way that burdens us or the registrars.
- Not try to access other people's accounts or data, or interfere with the service's security.
- Follow the law, including India's data protection law, when you handle anyone's personal data.
Accounts
You sign in with your Google account, so keeping that account secure is your responsibility. You can delete your Allotment Checker account at any time from Settings, which also deletes the PANs saved to it.
We may suspend or remove access for anyone who breaks these terms or misuses the service.
Availability and changes
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". We don't promise it will always be available, error-free or support every IPO or registrar. We may change, limit or stop any part of it at any time, with or without notice.
Third-party services
The service relies on others, including the registrars, Google (for sign-in) and Logo.dev (for company logos). Their own terms and policies apply to your use of them, and we aren't responsible for their services, websites or content. Links to other websites are for convenience only.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Gautam Rudani is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, the service. This includes investment or trading losses, missed or misreported allotments, incorrect or delayed data, and the service being unavailable.
Nothing in these terms limits any liability that can't be limited under Indian law.
Privacy
How we handle your PANs and other personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. If a change is significant, we'll point it out on the site. Using the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction over any dispute about them.
